Northstar Mine

The North Star Mine Powerhouse is in the California Gold Rush town of Grass Valley, California and it has the largest water wheel in the world since it began in 1895.

It is designated as a California Historical Landmark, and has been turned into the North Star Mine and Powerhouse & Pelton Wheel Museum.  There is a park surrounding it.
